Nairobi East Presbytery is one of the Presbyteries in the Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA).  The Presbytery was inaugurated on 2nd February 2004 after the sub-division of the greater Nairobi Presbytery.

The Presbytery is located on the Eastern side of Nairobi County covering Embakasi East, Embakasi West and Embakasi Central Constituencies in Nairobi County and Mavoko and Kangundo Constituencies of Machakos County.

The Presbytery Headquarter moved from PCEA Kariobangi South Church where it had been based for thirteen (13) years from 2005 to 2018.  It is currently based at PCEA Ruai Central Church grounds where a new office block was constructed within a period of 7 months.

The ground breaking was done by the then Presbytery Moderator Rev. Haron Ngere on 4th February 2018 and official handing over by the Contractor – Mosad Contractors, in September 2018. Official opening was on 18th November 2018 by the Secretary General Rev. Peter Kania.

The Presbytery comprises of 12 Parishes and 45 Congregations. The Parishes are Kayole, K/South, Umoja, Ruai Central, Ruai West, Dandora, Embakasi, Sosian, Unity, Ruai East, Tena and Kangundo.

It is home to AP and GSU Training Camps in Utawala Embakasi, Jomo Kenya International Airport in Mombasa Road, Shujaa Mall in Kayole, Greenspan Mall in Donholm, T Mall in Komarock among others.
