The exam period is approaching fast. I know that scares many people, especially if it s a major milestone in your professional career. Sitting for an examination can be one of the most trying moments in a student’s life. However, did you know that with God’s assistance, you could prepare for your exams and pass?
Having trust in God is the most profound thing a human thing can ever do. The one who created and set us in this world must have a sure way to navigate through it. This means that you should always bond with your creator in whatever activity you are doing including studying and doing exams. One tool that helps us to bond with God is prayer. Before any study session, you should always spend a few moments to say a short prayer. Actually, praying brings you closer to God and makes you feel a little stronger and relaxed going into test time. As the bible says, “do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to god. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Jesus Christ” Philippians 4: 6-7. This means that prayer and thanksgiving will always allow God to intervene especially between worries.
The key thing for exams is to have a clear purpose of doing it. The primary goal for humans in this world is to achieve success. That is why we should always treat exams as a higher calling for our special reward. Having God on the forefront of all your plans will always ensure you are prepared. That is why the bible tells us that whatever we do, we should work at it with all our hearts as of we are working for the lord, not for human masters. When you work hard in the lord, you know that you will receive an inheritance from the lord as a reward. In this case, the reward should be the good grades you will acquire that will, in turn, give you a better life. Having this in mind will fuel your courage to work, read, and revise hard to be able to get the promised reward.
Another important thing is having good health while you prepare for your exams. That is why students are always reminded to eat and sleep well before and after studying for examinations. We all know that God is the one who grants us health and peace of mind. The Bible tells us “dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you” 3 John 1:2. So, whatever you eat or drink, do it for the glory of God. The Bible tells us that a cheerful heart is good medicine but a crashed spirit dries up the bones. Therefore, when preparing for the exams, remember that health is very vital and only God shall walk with you all the way.
Finally, we should always live according to the expectation of the lord. God created us in this world to win and there is no reason you should think short of that. God has a purpose for us all and getting the good grades is one-step towards fulfilling it. Exams are a temporary temptation and god who gives us life can help us to conquer any stressful situation.
Good luck as you face exams, and may God grant you success and good favor.
