On 18th November 2018, PCEA Nairobi East Presbytery celebrated the official opening of the new Nairobi East Presbytery offices in Ruai Central parish by the Moderator of the general assembly Rt. Rev. Julius Guantai Mwamba. Formed in 2004, Nairobi East from the larger Nairobi presbytery, it is a sister to Nairobi North Presbytery and Nairobi Central Presbytery.
Previously the head offices have been hosted as follows previously:
- 2004-2005 – Dandora Parish (1 year)
- 2005-2018 – Kariobangi South (13 years)
Laying of the foundation stone, for these new offices was laid on the 4th February 2018 and was completed and handed over by the contractor on the 15th September 2018. As we celebrate the official opening we also appreciate all those who gave their support in terms of prayers, time, encouragement, and finances. We surely would not have made it in good time without your unwavering support.
